Thanks for the insightful message. I appreciate your attempt to bring certainty into the realm of human discernment with kiniseology. My personal experience is that it often works and is helpful yet lacks the creativity necessary to navigate our way through the realm of possibilities.
I’ve heard of David and the kinesiology point system. is there a easy way for a novice to figure out where he is on the scale (for curiosity’s sake)? also, I was curious how it might effect someones conciousness if, assuming someone, say, went on a three-month retreat to Peru and started going regularly to ayahuasca ceremonies, and decided to do it the right way and began regular meditations and the dieta? I ask this because when I first started college, it was my first time living on my own (away from my parents), and it took at least about two months for it to really sink in that I was truly free of my nosy, depressed mother, and that I could make choices for myself, not just to keep my mom happy.
The technique is really easy. He gives instructions in his books- usually in the appendix. It takes some practice, don’t start making major decisions until you start to get consistent results. Start with simple, mundane things. It is also more reliable when you can test questions/calibrate using two people.
As for raising consciousness, all of the things you mentioned raise consciousness. Actually just reading Hawkins books raise consciousness. When you combine them they compliment and boost each other.
Thanks for the info on David Hawkins. I looked at the intro of Power v’s Force and ordered the book. I found myself relating to his experience around dark night of the soul and moving in and out of relatively enlightened states, fearing abandonment by a higher power. Not sure if I can get my head around surrendering to existence or non existence. I am hoping that my power to absorb truth will increase as I cleanse both physically and emotionally. I am looking forward to joining you guys in the jungle on February 18.
Awesome! All of his books are amazing.
Look forward to seeing you too!
If there is no way of knowing what is “true-false,” how can you measure what is “true-false”?
By learning and using David Hawkins kinesiology technique. It has been extensively tested.
It is simple takes some time to learn/practice. Start with simple stuff then move up to more major decisions as you become more competent with the technique.
Sounds like dowsing to me. I’ve run across this while researching ley lines and I’ve had a homeopath which uses it…
“Some of the terms coined for the more esoteric systems of dowsing are Radiesthesia, Radionics, Bio-Energetics, Psycho-Metrics, Biophysics, and Psychotronics. One muscle testing book I have is padded with a mixture of Christian mysticism and technological wonder. It assumes that you will agree, by association, that what the author will later say is also true. They all are just different ways of dowsing producing the same results through different methods.”
“Dowsing with an instrument can be done in several ways. The four most known possibilities are: a dowsing-rod (L-rod and Y-rod), a pendulum, a lecherantenne, and a bobber/biotensor. Besides an instrument, the muscles of the body can be used too to obtain answers. This is called manual muscle testing, muscle dowsing or kinesiology. For both working with an instrument as muscle testing, it is advisable to follow a course.
“It is also possible to dowse by using intuition or paranormal abilities (inner senses). Some people can see leylines running across the surface. Others can see that more energy is present at specific locations.”
Give Hawkins a read about his kinesiology calibration method and see what you think. You can test random things that you can verify the truth/falsehood of directly. Use a participant and ask true/false questions that are related to the present or past (calibration is not reliable for future events).
It’s also important to note that the accuracy of calibration increases as one’s level of consciousness increases. If one’s consciousness is above 200 (the level of integrity and truth), the accuracy rate may range from 60% to 80-90%. This is remarkable since using our own minds to “guess” at truth/falsehood will statistically fall into the 50/50 range.
The Hawkins books that broach this topic include:
“Truth vs. Falsehood”
“Power vs Force”
“The Eye of the I From Which Nothing is Hidden”
Very nice post, many of my belliefs are posted in here, like the importance of a continius spiritual practice for a long time, or how some “famous” curanderos become “”egomonsters”, i have seen these things happening, my conciusness going up and down, some great shamans becoming cruel bussinesmen dominating people’s minds, etc.
. This piece of the post says it all:
“Raising consciousness is never a straight line “up and to the right”. There are plateaus and regressions throughout life regardless of ayahuasca and other practices. We all have egos, work to do, and our own processes.”
Absolutely true, no matter if you are a very experienced shaman or a guru or a first-timer or whoever. And, a vey serius point for me, the importance of never drinking ayahuasca alone, without a shaman. This could be extreemly dangerous!
There is although a point i can not understand, even if you mention this:
“We know that some people will have a problem with putting a number to consciousness, we certainly did at first. This is just a form of spiritual ego- I don’t need to have a number scale, I can “feel” in my heart what is “right”. Well that is simply false as stated in the paragraphs above. It is important to realize that this scale is just a map that can help us in positive ways, and as stated above we do not have the ability to discern truth from falsehood. The scale is just a useful tool for our linear minds.”
Well, yes, but even then, i can not understand this:
“ayahuasca itself calibrates at 598 on the Hawkins scale.”
How can we calibrate ayahuasca? What exactly means this? How can we calibrate a great spirit like ayahuasca with our human calibrating methods? A calibrating method is only a logical tool, made by logic, coming from logic and speaking to logic.
Being an artist, i m allways a bit away from this idea of calibrating everything arround us, i know it is useful for our practical reasons but i bellieve it is just not possible some times, for example when you try to calibrate skills in art or which artist did better, ( and i have study many scales to do that) it is not one kilo or one metter of something, art is speaking (or at least should be speaking) to the soul and every soul is “listening” in different ways in different times, a case quite simillar to ayahuasca. To me, ayahuasca, far more than art, is not only impossible to calibrate, it is impossible to analyse, there is no meaning to do that because then you just jump back to your egoistic logical methods of reacting to your surroundings, a waste of time, a waste of healing.
Again, i can understand the need of calibrating in our life, when it has to do with shamans, yes, or sellers, yes, or companies, yes, or space between the white belt and the black belt in karate, yes, or anything human, yes, but not when it has to do with the soul and how the universe is breathing through the soul. I prefer to aviod it, i will only be confused, it drives me away from my intention.
Of course, calibrating ayahuasca could be very useful for you or other people, for your/their own development and reason, as you/they see fit, for your/their intentions. This is just my case, and it does not have to be the same with someone else’s case.
Please forgive me for my not very good english, i hope the reader can feel what i m trying to say.
This is a very very interesting post, and my point of vew is just a point of vew, nothing less nothing more:)
Please give us more, we all need sites and posts like this.
Actually calibration is not linear nor logical at all. Calibration taps into the universal consciousness which is omnipresent and omnipotent. This is why it is so powerful. The universe knows EVERYTHING. Therefore, it is not out of line to calibrate ayahuasca. In his books, Hawkins talks about calibrating archangels ( Calib. 50,000) and demons (Calib. below 0).
